She is Field Co-Director of Research, AMPATH Program (ampathkenya.org/research), Founder and Director, AMPATH Qualitative Research Core; Member, Africa Ethics Working Group (AEWG) (neurogene.org/groups/aewg/); Board Member, International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH); and Past Co-Chair (2019-2022) of the Indigenous Populations Working Group (IPWG), Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (https://www.gacd.org/). She is Member, National Scientific and Ethics Committee, NACOSTI Kenya; Committee Member, Bioethics Society of Kenya; and Ethics Committee Member on two institutional research and ethics committees in Kenya. She is trained in Medical Sociology, Medical Anthropology, and Bioethics. She is interested in global bioethics and collaborative evaluations designed to improve research and care in resource-limited settings.
