I am committed to transforming lives and mentoring students and colleagues reach their full potential and become the change they want to be and global leaders through
my strong Knowledge in Strategic tourism development and management enabling me contribute to teaching the programmes, excellent interpersonal , oral and written communication skills, as well as proven record of meeting strict deadlines, ability to teach and supervise academic work by undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting high quality research both individually and collaboratively as reflected in authorship of publications and other research outputs, in the areas of Tourism Management and related field like Agriculture and geo science.

My commitment to quality teaching, academic research, student mentorship and continuous personal professional development has allowed me to be part of professional bodies: Kenya Institute of Management, Academy of Management and Tourism Professional Association, as well as attract grants (Academy of Global Governance, Global Governance Programme, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute) and scholarship (Short term Chinese Scholarship-China- This provided me the opportunity to start Chinese Language as an option for students in the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management)
