Patrick is a seasoned academician and consultant specialized in diverse areas of practice that include: Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management, Development studies, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Environmental Impact Assessment & Audits. I am a Thematic Lead for AFROHUN – Kenya, and a Member of the East Africa Community (EAC) Expert Working Group (EWG) on Pandemic Preparedness with One Health Approach (PPOH) a registered Lead Expert by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), as well as a Certified Auditor in Quality Management Systems (QMS 9001:2015) by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
I have over ten years’ experience in undertaking consultancy works in the above areas for various organization and clients. I teach, supervise, mentor and pursue research at the University. I have published in areas of Development, Disaster Management, One Health, Gender, Environmental management, and project monitoring and evaluation. Adjunct Lecturer for the Global Health Course at Linkoping University – Sweden, and Coordinator & Adjunct Lecturer; Year 2020 & 2022 Summer Schools for Heidelberg Institute of Global Health (HIGH), Heidelberg University – Germany funded by DAAD.
