Main research interests
Disability studies, Livelihoods for people with disability, juvenile delinquency, youth mentorship, inclusion and participation, and establish a center of excellence for youth with disability.
Main achievements include:
- Established a RealLife -Key CBO in 2021 to assist youth and parents of children with disabilities and was funded by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
- Raised funds to provide food and basic needs hardouts to persons living with disabilities during COVID-19 closure, this culminated in establishment of RealLife-Key in search for sustainable livelihoods
- Joined an international research collaboration ISRD4 for ongoing research in 2019.
