T.M. Simon studied Tourism Management at Moi University and graduated with a BSc. (First Class Honours) in 2014. He was awarded a DFID Commonwealth Scholarship in October 2017 to study M.Sc. Wildlife Conservation at the University of Chester, UK till 2018. Currently looking for opportunities to advance my Masters research to a PhD project in area of Biodiversity Management and habitat protection in 2019, he works at the Department of Tourism Management, Moi University as a Research and Teaching Assistant. He has been awarded the following Research grants and Honours;
He also has had work experience in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry in the capacities of:- Marketing Manager, Project Manager, Food and Beverage Controller, and Assistant Accountant. All at Thomsons Falls Lodge, Laikipia – Kenya. Other than that, he has served at the University of Chester Students’ Union, 2017/8 academic year as a Postgraduate Academic Rep. in charge of Graduate Students’ academic affairs in the Department of Biological Sciences. |
