PERSONAL STATEMENT:
Professionally, I am a Demographer, having attained both Masters and Ph.D degrees in Population Studies under University Grants Commission Scholarships in India. I hold BA Degree (Economic, Sociology and Political Science) from Mohan Lal Sukhadiia University Other qualification attained include Diploma in Population and Health, Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Annamalai university. Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Application from Indian Institute of Computer Training Udaipur City – Rajasthan State, India: Administratively, I, am a result-oriented leader, practicing professionalism, team work, and team spirit. I have over fifteen years of experience in administrative positions in both high schools and higher learning institutions. I teach GEO 221 Population Geography, SES 213 Population Dynamics and Resource Use, & BGS 221 Geography of Displaced persons and at School of Public Health, I teach Health Economics, Health Financing and Demography (COBES 1) both undergraduates and post graduate students and supervision of MPH Theses. I am also supervising two PhD candidates of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I have attended learned conferences, Seminars, and workshops, carried out research and published in journals and in Chapters in books, served as external examiner.
