Issacs is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics (Fiscal and Monetary Economics) in the School of Business and Economics at Moi University. At the department of Economics, he teaches courses on Econometrics, Public Finance, Financial Economics, Monetary Economics, Research Methodology and Statistics. He is also the Economics Programme coordinator for the department in Nairobi Campus.
