I am a specialist Surgeon with Kenya Medical Practitioner and Dentists Council recognition as a specialist General Surgeon and Paediatric Surgeon.

General Surgery training was at the University of Nairobi (1996) and Paediatric Surgery at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa (2005).

I am also a founding Fellow of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA) 1999.

My administrative duties in Moi University include:- Chair of the department of Surgery and Anaesthesiology for 2 terms, and now holder of both positions of Ag. Dean School of Medicine and Ag. Principal College of Health Sciences.
