I am a lecturer of finance and accounting in the department of Accounting and Finance, School of Business and Economics, Moi University at Nairobi Campus. My teaching courses currently are in accounting and finance areas, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am as well the school coordinator of post graduate programs offered at Nairobi Campus. My responsibilities include mainly management of; admissions, timetabling and monitoring of class teachings, examinations and results, theses and projects supervision allocation and liaising with main campus on matters affecting postgraduate students in Nairobi Campus a mong other responsibility. At campus level, I am a nominated member of the National Cohesion and National Values Sub – Committee of Nairobi Campus and a member of the planning and preparation committee for campus events as well as a committee member and academic staff representative for Moi Nairobi staff welfare.
Apart from being a resident lecturer of Moi University, Nairobi Campus, I also lecture and supervise students at various institutions of higher learning that are in collaboration with Moi University, among them, Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA), Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) and East Africa School of Aviation (EASA). I am also the youth patron at Butunyi Catholic Church, where I organize and plan events for youth group in my home parish.
I graduated with PhD in Business Management (Finance) from Moi University, School of Business and Economics, Department of Accounting and Finance in the year 2014, through a collaborative program between Moi University and Oklahoma State University in the USA. Before then, I had graduated with Master of Business Management (MBA -Finance) in the year 2006 and Bachelor of Education Arts (BEd. Arts), Business Studies and Economics as teaching subjects in the year 2000, both from the University of Nairobi. I am a certified on-line teaching expert by Quality Matters (QM)Program Organization, Maryland Online, Inc. USA, in the year 2016. I am also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA) and a practicing member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
My research interests cut across the disciples of business management particularly in the areas of finance, accounting and economics, with publications in the respective areas. I am a consultant in financial matters and supervisor of under graduate as well as post graduate students in research and thesis writing at university level. Apart from training and research, I am an established curriculum developer in finance and accounting on both local and International platforms. I have conducted International trainings and research with Oklahoma State University and University of Tennessee Chattanooga, both in the United states of America (USA). Before then, I developed curriculum for Bachelor of Business Education (BBE) Program for Kigali Institute of Management (KIM) in Rwanda among others. My credentials are authenticated and recognized by World Education Services (WES) in New York, U.S.A.
