Dr. Patrick Onsando holds a PhD in Economics, B.com and MA from DR. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR MARATHWADA UNIVERSITY IN INDIA. He has also undertaken advanced training in econometrics (University of Pretoria) and Macroeconomic modeling and Forecasting (Cambridge University). He teaches economics at Moi University in Kenya. Previously he worked as Regional Planner with the Lake Basin Development Authority. He has participated in several symposia, colloquia, conferences, and presented several seminars both at national and international level. He serves as a reviewer for several journals and organizations’. He also serves on various editorial boards. He is a member of many learned societies notably American Economic Association (AEA), Organization of Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (O.S.S.R.E.A), African Economic Research Consortium (A.E.R.C), Athens Institute for Education and Research (A.T.I.N.E.R), Royal Economic Society, Academy of Management (A.O.M) among others.
