Dr. Lydia Mwanzia enjoys encouraging and supporting students in developing their knowledge, skills and professional competencies in the care of women and their newborns. This involves supporting and guiding students in effective ways of learning and demonstrating their knowledge and skills both at the University and in clinical placement settings. Effective communication and teamwork are essential attributes for her roles as a post graduate supervisor, tutor and clinical instructor. Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya, Member of the Honor Society of Nursing (STTI) Sigma Theta Tau, Lambda Chapter and Department of Midwifery and Gender, the School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences. |
