ATTRACTION OF FUNDS TO MOI UNIVERSITY
2020- Present: Open Society Foundation (OSF) grant for Education in Kakuma Refugee Camps. Total Grant $ 316,800
2016-Present: Kakuma Refugee Camp teacher training project by Moi University in collaboration with HogeSchool Utrecht University, Kenyatta University and Windle Trust International. The project is a three-year plan cycle supported by UNHCR and funded by Master Card Foundation. The students in the project are given full scholarships. I am the Moi University coordinator of the project.
2013-2018: As an Executive Board member of the Moi University Alumni Association (MUAA) and School of Education Representative, we have raised fund through annual the subscription fees from old and registered members and fundraising to support Alumni activities such as purchase of library chairs and recently the students study benches in Main Campus.
2019-Present: As a member of African Universities Network for Higher Education in Emergencies (AUN4HEiE), wrote a proposal through University of Geneva and won OSF grants for 10 Kakuma Refugees (Program Started January 2021-ongoing)
2020: Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) Grant by USAID.
