Dr. Jerry Ochola –is a senior lecturer in the department of Manufacturing, Industrial and Textile Engineering, at Moi University, Kenya. His research interests are in biomechanical application of fibrous structures. He has carried extensive research in mechanical behaviour of braided structures in the repair of ruptured and degenerated human tendons, and the potential of braided structures in reinforcement of femur shaft fracture. He is currently involved in parametric modelling and finite element analysis of biomechanical structures for repair cardiovascular deformities. |
