I am a practicing Public Health Officer registered with the Public Health Officers and Technicians' Council (PHOTC) of Kenya, currently working as a lecturer at the school of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Moi University. I have over five years’ experience of teaching, tutoring, supervising, assessing and mentoring students as well as coordinating the department’s examinations, timetable and teaching programs. I am also an activity lead within the school of Public health for Africa Universities Network (AFROHUN) formally One Health for East and Central Africa. I also have over 10 years wealth of experience in the administration and management of clinical and research programs both at health facility and community level. I worked previously as the Human Subjects Administrator at the Institutional Research and Ethics Committee where I coordinated the review of standard operating procedures and related forms for protocol submission and review. To date, I do ethical reviews of research proposals for the committee. My interest is in continuing education in health professions, gender, biomass & health, as well as bioethics. Currently I am undertaking an online Master’s program in Global Bioethics (MGB) offered at the faculty of Bioethics, Anahuac University, Mexico. The program is partially sponsored by the UNESCO Chair Bioethics, Human rights Rome and Anahuac University.
