Josphat Igadwa Mwasiagi has a BTECH in Textile Technology (Bharathiar, 1991), Master of Science in Textile Engineering (China Textile, 2000) PhD (Donghua, 2009) Mwasiagi has worked in Thika cloth Mills and Rivatex factory where he served as an Assistant Spinning Master and Spinning Manager respectively. He has worked with Moi University since 1997, and he is an associate Professor of Textile Engineering, and PI for UNEP Intex project, which seeks to promote sustainability and circularity in the textile and apparel value chain in Kenya.  He has published over 70 publications in international journals and conferences.
