Francisca Ngithi Mbutitia holds Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Educational Guidance and Counselling, a Post Graduate Diploma in Christian counselling and Bachelor’s degree in Education Arts. Her areas of research interest are: Educational Psychology, Counselling, Psycho-social stressors, Trauma and human adjustment. At departmental level She is: Examinations officer, chair of collaboration, linkages and Outreach committee and a member of Research and Publication committee. She is mentoring masters and PhD students in research and thesis writing. A member of Kenya |Guidance, Counselling and Psychologist Association (KGCPA), Kenya Association of Educational Administration and Management (KAEAM) and Forum for African Women Educationist Kenya Chapter (FAWEK)
