Chepkirui Koe Edna is an Assistant lecturer in Moi University, in the School of Education, Department of Curriculum  Instruction & Educational Media, currently  teaching Kiswahili Language and Methods. She is a holder of Mphil in Kiswahili, Moi University and Bachelor of Education, Kenyatta University. She is currently pursuing a PhD. She has a wide range of experience in teaching in schools and teacher training colleges. Her research interest is in Kiswahili Language and Linguistics and its effects on learners and society. She has served as a church secretary 2007 to 2008 and church chairman 2009 to 2014 and a Christian Education champion  to date
