Dr. Chepchumba Chumo is a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Economics & Resource Management at Moi University where she is among a strong working team of Lecturers and researchers who have steered the department from humble beginning to greater heights. Being in love with what happens around her and the believe that there’s no single approach/solution for all the Agricultural and Economic issues, Dr. Chumo joined the academia from private sector in 2010 and she’s particularly interested in  impact analysis, research in Agriculture, Trade, socio-economics and lately linkages in Agriculture, food safety & Nutrition.

Dr. Chepchumba has a Ph.D. In Agricultural Economics from Moi University-Kenya, MSC In Agricultural Economics from Moi University, BSC in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University and Diploma in Project Management, agribusiness and post-harvest management from Galilee international management institute-Israel. Dr. Chepchumba is a recipient of numerous research grants and awards. She has published articles in several journals and has reviewed papers for many refereed journals. She has also presented contributed papers in various international, regional and national conferences and she is a member of various professional associations.
