About Me

I am an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and Gynaecologic Oncologist. I work in the Department of Reproductive Health at Moi University School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences. I am a senior lecturer and Head of Department. I teach and offer clinical services at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. I am the current Chair, Division of Gynaecologic Oncology and lead AMPATH Cervical Cancer Prevention Program (ACCP) with screening clinics spread throughout the AMPATH Catchment are in Western Kenya. I started the first clinical fellowship at Moi university in collaboration with my colleague and other North American partners from the University of Toronto. This was not only the first such training in Kenya but indeed in the region. We recently started the second such clinical fellowship in Maternal Foetal Medicine. I am an active member of the Kenya Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (KOGs), International Gynaecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) and Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the UK
