Dr. Alice J. C Kurgat is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History Political Science and Public Administration, Moi University. Dr. Kurgat holds a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Uppsala University, Sweden, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations from Ukrainian Institute of International Relations at Kiev State University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)  from Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. Her research interests focuses on the intersection between international relations, politics and conflict management.
