Academic and administrative leadership: Professor and founding Head of Immunology department; founding member of School of Medicine; served as Senate representative to Moi University Council; participated as Chairman/member of several council and school based committees; was resource person for Commission for University (CUE) in site inspections of Kenya Methodist University, Mt Kenya University and University of Eastern Africa, Baraton; currently Member of Kenya Society of Immunologists (KSI)
