    • 2015 MEDUNAM II- Higher Education Institutions and Institutional Cooperation Instrument Program, funded by Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.(2015) for travel to Nampula Mozambique for training workshop on COBES.(2,250 US $)

    • 1997 MHO/NUFFIC-Dutch Government and Moi University collaborative Scholarship award for PhD studies in the Netherlands and Kenya.

    • 1993 ODA-KARI- Tick borne diseases research scholarship award to study M.Sc. in UK.

    • 1984 Overseas Development Administration (ODA)- British council award for one year post graduate study in Biochemistry in UK.

    • 1978 Kenya Government sponsorship for 3 year undergraduate studies at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
