Biography

Mr. Denis Kiptanui Agui is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Moi University. Formally was in the Department of Educational Management and Policy Studies, School of Education. He is a graduate of Moi University in both Bachelor of Education (Arts) - Kiswahili and Geography and Master of Philosophy in Environmental Planning and Management. PhD. Environmental Planning and Management-University of Eldoret, ongoing.

Mr. Agui has been a course and program coordinator in the Department of Educational Management & Policy Studies. He has also been a Teaching Practice Zonal CoordinatorS. He is currently the coordinator Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAE) Program and a School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS) representative in the students’ Mentorship team of Moi University. He is also a course coordinator for EMP 410- Environmental Education. Mr. Agui is a self-driven gentleman of high integrity so passionate in his professional duties and responsibilities. He is strategic in vision and capable of working under minimal supervision. He posses impressive problem-solving skills, public speaking skills, judgment of decision-making, active listening and proven ability to manage resources with great attention to fine details. He is flexible, industrious and a team player.

He is affiliated to Kenya Institute of Management-Membership Number 43298; National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)-Membership number 9126 and Environmental Institute of Kenya (EIK)-Membership number EIK/1/751.
