Dr Thomas Agak was born in November 1964. Went to Nyalenda primary school then Pace High School. He proceeded to Spicer Memorial College in India for his senior secondary school then in the same Spicer Adventist University for his degree work. He later transferred to Agra university to complete the bachelor degree in economics, Masters and Phd degree in the same university. At the dep. Of economics, he has held several responsibilities as student registration officer, field trip officer chairman of undergraduate Research projects and finally the longest serving postgraduate chairman. He has supervised several Masters and Phd students.
