She has worked in the academics’ field for the past 8 years in the schools of Human Resource Development and Arts and Social Sciences. Her responsibilities have been to mainly to teach, research and coordinate various academic programs. Her expertise is mainly on issues of sustainable development of peoples’ livelihoods. She is a member of the Development Studies Association based in the UK and serves as an examiner in the field of socio-economic and entrepreneurship development. She is also currently pursuing her Doctoral Studies leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Development Studies, Moi University.
