Dr. Stella Jerop Chebii is a lecturer of Communication Studies at the Department of Publishing, Journalism and Communication. She has a vast knowledge in communication studies acquired through the many years in higher Education and public service.  Stella holds a PhD in Communication Studies (Moi University), Masters of Arts in Linguistics (University of Nairobi), Bachelors of Education in English and Literature (Moi University), Diploma in Human Resource Management (Kenya Institute of Management. She also has other trainings from the Kenya School of Government (SMC, SLDP) and   Women in Leadership Programme from Strathmore University.

She is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya and the Institute of Human Resource Management. 

Stella has served as the school coordinator for Corruption Prevention Committee, Online and Distance learning, Field Course and Attachment. 

Stella’s interests are in Gender and Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication and Development Communication.

I have successfully supervised eight post graduate students.
