Patrick M Chege is a senior Lecturer and chair of the department of Family & Community Medicine & Medical Education. Having joined Moi University School of Medicine in 2008 as a tutorial fellow in 2008, he has spent most of the academic and career time serving among rural communities in Bungoma County. He has special interest in primary health care and primary care especially in maternal and child health, chronic disease management among the underserved. He has interest in interprofessional education and medical curricula writing and implementation. He is a Fogarty scholar of 2009 and Fogarty fellow in research mentoring of 2015/2016.
