Dr Sawe Belsoy is a senior lecturer in the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management and has been lecturing in the University since 1997. He began at the Department of Tourism before moving to establish the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management in 2002. He is an associate member of Marketing Society, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development and founder member of Association of Hospitality Professionals and Practitioners in Africa (AHPPA). He is currently the Chair of Strategy and Development committee at the STHEM and Budget committee at the department. Belsoy has graduated several Masters’ students and is supervising PhDs’. He has participated in reviewing and developing several curriculums for undergraduate, masters and PhD in Hospitality Management. Belsoy serves the community as an educationist and board chair of secondary schools in Nandi County.
