Dr Odini holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Studies, from the School of Information Sciences, Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. She has over 30 years of extensive experience in teaching and research work. Dr Odini is a Senior Lecturer, distinguished researcher, trainer and curriculum expert. She served as Senior Library Staff in Kenyatta University Library 1983 – 1989. Senior and Deputy University Librarian Moi University Library 1990 – 2010.  She is a Senior lecturer of Library and information studies in the Department of Library and information Studies in Moi University School of Information Sciences, Department of Library Record and Information Studies.  She is also teaching Health Service management, Health Management Information Systems in the Department of Health Policy and Management, School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Moi University. Dr Odini was a member of COBES Committee College of Health Sciences 2008 – 2012, Halls Committee, College of Health Sciences 2010 – to 2016, School of Medicine School, School of Public Heath, and School of Dentistry Boards 2008 – 2012. Represented School of Public Health   on Information Learning and Resources Development - Sub Committee of Senate 2013 – 2016, Member of Moi University School of Medicine, Internal Administrative Committee 2008 – 2012. Member of Kenya Journal of Health Sciences 2009 – 2014, College of Health Sciences Administrative   Board 2010- 2012, Member of College of Health Sciences Academic Board 2010- 2011,  School of Public Health School Board 2012- 2020. Served as member of School of Public Health Graduate Board 2013 – 2020. Served as Chair, Department of Health Policy and Management Graduate Board 2013 – 2020, as chairman of School of Public Health, E – Learning Committee 2015 – 2020. Represented School of Public Health on Institute of Distance Learning Committee from 2015 – 2020.  Was   E – Health coordinator in the school of public health.  Wrote various proposals, attended several planning meeting of One Health 2014 - 2020. Chaired several e–health workshops on instructional design, content development, uploading of content onto MUSOMI Platform, curriculum development, etc. Post-graduate and Research Committee Co-ordinator, department of Health policy and Management School of Public Health in Moi University 2013 – 2020.
