Maina T. Sammy teaches Literature at Moi University’s Department of Literature, Linguistics, Foreign Languages and Film Studies. A Board Member of Kenya Oral Literature Association (KOLA), Maina has also served as the Deputy Director, Utafiti Foundation; Senior Editor at Utafiti Foundation Research and Documentation Centre; Part-Time Lecturer at The University of Eldoret, Kenya. He also serves as an Editorial Board member for several refereed journals. With over 10 years of experience, and several publications in peer-reviewed and refereed journals, Maina is a salted teacher, publisher, researcher and editorial consultant having worked on over 400 titles published by Utatifi Foundation (Kenya), Moi University Press (K), Africa International University, and The University of Eldoret (K).
