Biography

Simon Wanjala Nganga holds a doctoral degree in General linguistics from Bayreuth University, Germany. In addition to lecturing, he co-ordinates the undergraduate research project committee activities and the English and Linguistics programmes. He is skilled in teaching and supervising students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Of the eleven postgraduate projects he supervises, three have been completed. He is a member of the International Association of pragmatics (Ipra) since 2015. He is widely published in many international peer-reviewed journals. He recently returned from a TWAS-DFG funded three-month collaborative stay in Bayreuth.
