Dr Brenda Okumu is a dentist registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentist council (MPDC) and is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Dentistry where she heads the outreach department and pioneered the mentorship program. She served in Moi University’s Institute for Gender Equity and Research Development (IGERD) committee between 2011 and 2014 as the School’s representative. She is an active member of the Kenya Dental Association North Rift branch, where she served as the Secretary between 2011 and 2013 and is also a member of the Christian Medical Fellowship.
