Beryl Musundi holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and is pursuing her doctoral degree in Mathematical Biology at the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Her research interests are in the multi-scale modelling of infectious diseases. She has been awarded scholarships by the DAAD and the African Mathematics Millennium Science Initiative (AMMSI) and is involved in joint projects with collaborators from Germany.
