He is currently a Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics (Candidate) at Moi University, Kenya. In addition, he is a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Literature, Linguistics, Foreign Languages and Film studies where he teaches courses in Linguistics and English. Finally, he is a member of the Language Association of Eastern Africa (LAEA) and a member of the Departmental Directorate of Open and Distance Learning committee.
