Serah Wanja Njue is a teacher trainer in the area of Special Needs Education. She has trained teachers at different professional levels namely, Primary Teacher Education Level, Diploma level and currently bachelors level. Her area of specialization is visual impairment where she trains student teachers and prepares them to work with learners with visual impairment.

She is a panel member with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development where she writes books and also adapts materials for learners with visual impairment.

She is currently working on her PhD thesis titled ‘Determinants of performance of learners with visual impairment in summative evaluation in Kenya’.
