Dr. Chepng’etich, Tonui Betty- Bor is a Lecturer in the School of Education, Department of Curriculum Instruction and Educational Media (CIEM), Moi University –Eldoret, Kenya. She holds a P.hd in Education, Early Childhood and Primary Education. Her thesis work is about: Use of drawing as a pedagogical tool in the acquisition of effective Communication skills in Early Years Education in Kenya from Moi University. She holds a Masters Degree in Early Child-Care and Education from Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu, an on going Masters in Education communication Technology student at Moi University, a PGDE in Educational Management and a B.A. Arts -English/ Literature from Maharshi Dayanand University-Rohtak, Haryana State, India. Other training on research from Mandela University- South Africa and Pedagogy in education at Trnava University, Slovakia. Ms. Tonui has been a graduate teacher at Kenyatta University from (2001 to 2006) and a lecturer at Moi University where she taught education Early childhood courses both for undergraduate and post graduate since 2009-to date. Ms. Tonui was appointed by Moi University School of Education as a Diploma coordinator in Early Childhood and Primary Education from (2010-2014) and further appointed by Commission of University Education(CUE) as a Consultant - Credit Accumulation and transfer systems (CATS) project (2011-2013) in Education field-Early Childhood Education Studies. She is currently the Director: Precious Pearls Education Center for Early Childhood development in Nandi County- Kenya, Board of Management Chairperson at Kaplelemet Sec. School, and BoM member Sochoi Girls Sec. School. Ms. Tonui is an active community welfare member through the CITAM Church Eldoret, where she serves as a Women team leader and serves in the Christian Counselling Department. Her research interests includes Education Communication Technology and Research in Early Years Education. She has published several seminar articles in refereed journals and presented papers at local and international conferences.
