I was born on 3^rd May 1989 in Nandi, Kenya. I joined Kamimei Primary School in 1996 and Finished in 2003, after which I joined Mbale High School in Vihiga County, Kenya\, where completed with an A minis of 74 points. I therefore applied to join Moi University as my first choice to pursue a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management, in the former Chepkoilel Campus. I graduated with a first class honors in the year 2013, and secured a Moi University tuition scholarship to undertake Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management. I graduated with the Masters degree in 2016. As a result of my performance, I secured another full scholarship by African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), which offered me a PhD fellowship under Collaborative Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics (CMAAE), which I am currently undertaking. As a young scholar, I have published several papers in refereed journals and attended trainings and conferences in research, which is my major long term specialization.
