Biography

  • Dr. Mathew Stanley Kosgei is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Physics & Computing, and Associate Dean, School of Sciences and Aerospace Studies, Moi University, Kenya. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil.) in Mathematics (Biostatistics), MSc in Biostatistics and Bachelor’s degree, BSc from Moi University (Kenya). He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) from St. John, York University (UK-DL) and a Certificate in Strengthening Doctoral Supervision Course from The Rhodes university. He has served in various committees of Moi University and also as Examinations Coordinator, Lecturer and Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Eldoret. His primary interests are in Response Surface Methodology as well as in general Biostatistical Methods and Operations Research. He has supervised a number of postgraduate students and a member the International Biometric Society, Kenya National Statistical Society and Board, School of Graduate Studies of Moi university.
