Dr. Faith Kandie holds a PhD in Natural Science from the Goethe university, Frankfurt Germany (2021), a master’s degree in Environmental Sanitation from Ghent University, Belgium (2016) and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies (Environmental Biology and Health major) from Moi University (2012). Her current research interests focus on analytical screening of organic micropollutants in surface water systems within western Kenya and prevalence and infectivity of Schistosoma-host snails within the study area. Dr. Kandie is also involved with various (inter)national collaborators in Germany and Kenya. She is the currently the East African Representative of SETAC Africa Council. |
