Biography

Born on the 28th Day of November 1978, Prof. Sorre is an Associate Professor of Cultural Anthropology in the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Anthropology in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Moi University, Kenya.  For the last 18 years, Prof. Sorre has been teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in various universities in Kenya. He is a Fellow of University of Lagos, Nigeria. He has been a Principal and Co-principal investigator in many research projects. With over 26 publications in various areas of interest, Prof. Sorre has contributed immensely in areas of food security, urbanization, street children, identity and moralities, sexuality, deviance, and qualitative research methods, just to mention a few.  He has engaged in several research consultancies as well as administrative assignments
