Mr. Yabesh Kongo holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Economics (First class Honors), all from Moi University. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics at Moi University. He further Holds CPA Section IV and a Senior Management course-Distinction from the Kenya School of Government. Along with University teaching, invigilation and research, having published papers in peer reviewed and refereed journals, he has held coordination positions in the University, Church and Community. His qualifications, experience, core values and achievements are explicit and in line with his career objective.

Mr. Kongo possess strong analytical skills in problem solving, able to work independently with minimum supervision, goal oriented, superior communication skills, good leadership and management capabilities, good teamwork co-ordination, committed to responsibilities, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Further, Mr. Kongo Yabesh is a creative and passionate graduate assistant dedicated to fostering student-centered classroom environment based on mutual respect and collaboration. He is committed to helping students identify and develop their own passions while becoming successful, confident professionals.

Yabesh Kongo’s core research interest and expertise are majorly in areas of applied economics, mainly environmental & development economics, statistics and applied econometrics.
