Biography

Titus Rotich has spent his life at the back of the class room as a student for over 20 years both for basic education and professional development from P1-Primary Teacher Education certificate and now a seasoned teacher with PhD in Applied mathematics. Motivated by his passion in mathematics, he has taught mathematics at primary level, secondary and currently teaching in the University, both undergraduate and post graduate students, alongside various administrative positions both short and long terms assignments including a program coordinator and being the Chairman of Science Education department.

Besides teaching, he has used his analytic skills and profound experiences carrying out research, to help students and the society perceive applied mathematics as a problem solving tool through modeling of physical phenomena using mathematical techniques, and using relevant technological and computer software to make simulations and generate future model dynamics which informs innovative and optimal solutions to contemporary and forthcoming problems. Out of his research, many of his findings have been relevant in critical decision making in diverse areas.
