Peter Isaboke Omboto is an Associate Professor in the School of Business & Economics, Department of Entrepreneurship & Project Management. He graduated with B.A in Economics from University of Nairobi in 1983 and in same year joined Civil Service as a Planning Officer in the Treasury. In 1985, attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Planning Management & Evaluation of Development Projects (PAID_ESA, Zambia). In 1989 got a Masters in International Development (Cornell University- USA). In 1990, he joined Moi University as an Assistant lecturer. In 2010, attained a PhD in Environmental Economics (Moi University). A part from teaching, he has headed a department, done research, supervised many postgraduate students, offered community services and member of many professional bodies. He is married with four children and cherishes family values.
