Onditi Elias was born on 19 September 1955 in Nairobi, Kenya.

He studied medicine in 1975 to 1980 and qualified for the

MB.,ChB 1980 (UoN) . He served as Medical Officer in Kakamega,

Busia , Wajir and Garissa Counties up to August 1983.

He qualified for M.Med(RAD)1986(UoN) .

Provincial Radiologist , Nyeri from 1986 to 1987. Lecturer, University of Nairobi 1987 , Visiting Associate / Fellow University of Iowa from 1988 to 1989. Senior Lecturer , Moi University ,1990. Associate Professor ,2012. Fellowship in Radiation Protection (Nurenberg) 2010
