Very competent professional, and currently senior lecturer at Moi University with over 24 years of service provision in teaching, research, consultancy, leadership, and mentorship. Provide services at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels covering modules/courses including: services marketing; tourism products development; tourism policy and planning; consumer behavior; cultural, heritage and creative tourism; destination positioning and branding; tourism development theory and practice; concepts and theories in tourism; theories of tourism development; and innovation in tourism product development and management. Undertaken and/or supervised projects in/on community-based tourism development, indigenous knowledge and sustainable tourism management, multiplier effects of tourism, tourism and socio-economic livelihoods, pro-poor tourism development, tourism satisfaction and future intentions. Supervised a number postgraduate students to completions and significant number on-going. Collaborative leadership in various community programs. Strong expertise in: Tourism product development; destination marketing, cultural and creative tourism, tourism, multiplier effects, livelihoods and sustainability. Member: Tourism Professional Association (TPA), Eco-tourism, and other affiliations; Atlas Africa, Google scholar, ResearchGate. Among others.
