I have taught at the university level for over 20 years now.
I taught at Pan Africa Christian University in 1995 to 1997 before joining the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Moi University on 4TH June 1997 as a lecturer teaching Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. I received promotion to senior lecturer in 2011 then associate professor in 2015.
I have been appointed to several committees. Between 2003 and 2010 I was the Exam and timetable coordinator in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies.
In 2014 to 2015 I was Chair, Departmental Graduate Studies Committee (DGSC) in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. From 2008 to 2017 I was in the Graduate Studies Academics Research & Extension Committee (GSREC) as representative for School of Arts and Social Sciences. I participated in the development of Postgraduate Rules and Regulations and the Anti-Plagiarism policy document for the University.
I am a member of several academic bodies including Christian and Scientific Association of Kenya (C.S.A.K), Association of Theological Institutions of Eastern Africa (ATIEA), Kenya Nonfiction and Academic Authors' Association (KENFAA), African Association for the Study of Religion. I am also a member to a church body, Eldoret Ministers Fellowship.
I am also currently Deputy Chief Editor: Journal of Technology and Socio-Economic Development, ISSN 2223-9227 and Associate Editor: Contemporary Issues in Philosophy, Religion and Theology.
